Gilon Implementation
Gilon implemented a detailed Executive Information System based on a multidimensional MS OLAP database. A uniform system was designed, encapsulated in a closed VB system that enables easy, authentication-based fast access for executives. The entire system integrates performance indicators such as return hospitalization, hospitalization cost, pharmaceutical costs, weighted average cost per patients, etc. The multidimensional data warehouse enables complex, intelligent queries such as: the twenty most expensive drugs and distribution according to consumer and comparative analysis the regional average. In addition, the system enables itemized analysis on the practicing physician level, and prescribed drugs per specialized lists, etc. For its outstanding achievement and success, Gilon received the coveted Microsoft BI Best Solution Provider Award for 2001. |
