Eventix is a smart schema for continuous, high volume transfer of CDR records to the database.
The process continuously feeds CDR records into the CDR model in the DWH. The records origin is in the MAF system output. The TF system receives these records, enriches them with data while performing all the required transformations. The records are then transferred to the parallel records table in the DWH.
Eventix also includes night processes such as RI and duplications checks and other required data enrichment and insertion into the DWH.
Eventix features and capabilities
- Loading of hundreds of CDR records a day
- Working with an asynchronous data loading mechanism (multi-process)
- Preventing duplicated records
- Performing RI checks
- Creating a common denominator for the various CDR types (record splitting) in centralized tables
- Maintaining recovery capability and continuance of process as close to the break point as possible
- Optimizing processing and loading to save machine resources
- Preventing disk space “waste” (record structure/key structure/assisting fields/intermediate tables)
- Minimum utilization of DW machine resources to prevent interruption of users’ queries
- Managing an optimal scrolling time window
- Managing and building simple processes
- Status control of processes
- Control over errors and irregular volumes
- Enrichment of source records
- Loading the records into the DW according to the end-users data schema
- Completion of missing data in the CDR and ETL
- General and process control
- Reception of files, enriching the records and forwarding to end-users schema will not exceed 10 minutes
