Gilon acquires EIS – Enterprise Information Systems - at NIS5 Million
February 23, 2007 – Gilon Business Insight – Israel – Gilon BI, a member of the D-Partner investment fund, announces that it has acquired Enterprise Information Systems (EIS), who specializes in application and integration of business intelligence solutions using SAS technology. The volume of the acquisition is estimated at NIS5 Million.
The company's 15 employees will join Gilon and Gadi Kotler who used to be EIS CEO, will head the SAS field at Gilon.
EIS is operated since 1992 in the area of development and implementation of advanced BI systems. The company developed Sigma which provides a complete, end-to-end BI solution. The Sigma system is successfully installed in some of Israel's leading companies, including: The Electricity Company, EL-AL, Tfahot bank, Haifa municipality, and more.
According to Gal Rimon, CEO of Gilon Israel, the acquisition of EIS strengthens Gilon's position and activity as a leader in the Israeli BI industry. With the acquisition Gilon also acquires a team of skilled professionals and Sigma, which is a complete and comprehensive BI system, applied in a number of large organizations in Israel.
Mr. Rimon added: " as a part of the Dovrat Group, Gilon is active in broadening its focused activity in the BI field, both in Israel and around the world."
