Ness-Gilon delivered the second phase of a unique project for the Israeli Securities Authority
The project included development of an Enterprise BI system for analysis of trade information in the Israeli capital market. The system enables the Authority departments to control, discover and investigate trade abnormalities and suspicious fraudulent transactions done by private investors or by institutional organizations such as mutual funds and brokers.
The system is fed with information extracted directly from the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, the Authority operational systems and other systems such as Magna (corporate reports), systems of Stock Exchange members and systems of communication providers.
Prof. Zohar Goshen, the ISA chairman was quoted in a press conference held on March 1st, 2010: “The system is kind of a “big brother” watching all the trade transactions in the market. Our ability to reach every player was enhanced dramatically and the results will come soon”.
Mr. Natan Hershkowitz, ISA CIO: “The project is part of our willingness of ISA to continuously improve the trade and activities in securities. The selection of Ness-Gilon was based on its presented comprehensive and added value solution and on its vast experience in similar projects. Ness-Gilon and its partners fulfilled their mission successfully and to ISA satisfaction.
The project was led by Ness-Gilon and was done in cooperation with Oracle and Emet Computing.
The developed system is based on Oracle 11g Data-Base, IBM Data-Stage ETL and Oracle BI platform (OBIEE).
