The penetration into Europe is an integral part of the company's global expansion strategy led by D-Partners – the private investment fund of the Dovrat Group.

February 12, 2007 – Gilon Business Insight – Israel – Gilon Business Insight Group, Israel's largest BI Company, employing more than 160 people, announced the establishment of its daughter company in Poland – BI Insight, which will offer consulting services, project execution and software products in the area of business intelligence to customers in Eastern and Central Europe.

Gilon BI established BI-Insight in cooperation with Betacom, a public Polish company, traded in the Polish stock-exchange, and ranked between the 5 leading IT companies in the country. Gilon is the major stock holder in BI-Insight.

The establishment of the Polish company is an integral part of Gilon Group's international expansion plan, to leverage the accumulated knowledge and experience of the company abroad. The global expansion plan is led by D-Partner – a private investment fund of the Dovrat Group, who acquired control of Gilon a few months ago.

According to Guy Greenberg, CEO of Gilon BI Group, who is leading the expansion activities abroad, "The IT market in Poland and in the surrounding countries is going through extensive growth.  Along side to that, the BI market is also considered to be one of the two fastest growing IT fields.
